Meet Pei Yan, our work attachment volunteer!

Pei YanThis December, we welcome Miss Heng Pei Yan from CHIJ Katong Convent, who is  spending two weeks (3–14 December) with the museum as part of her work attachment.

Miss Heng is no stranger to us, being a regular and enthusiastic volunteer with the Comprehensive Marine Biodiversity Survey of Singapore, and took part in our recently concluded survey of the Johore Straits.

Here she is, sorting out mollusc and echinoderms collected from various shore localities around Singapore and looking quite pleased!

Update: Pei Yan blogged about her experience!
