Dr. Yoshihisa Fujita & Mr. Masami Obuchi

Dr. Yoshihisa Fujita (Foreground, in red) is an adjunct lecturer from the University Education Center, University of the Ryukyus, and along with him is a doctorate course student in the University of the Ryukyus, Mr. Masami Obuchi (Foreground, in white). They are here with the RMBR from 19 Sep to 30 Sep 2008.

Dr. Fujita and Mr. Obuchi specialises in the area of comatulid crinoids, and are here to help enhance the understanding of comatulid diversity in the waters of Singapore by investigating the specimens in the Raffles Museum collection. On top of that, they will also be helping to collect comatulids around Singapore waters so as to increase the number of museum collection for future researchers.

They are hosted by Dr. Tan Swee Hee (Background, in blue) and Dr. Tohru Naruse (Background, in red).
