Our three intrepid crustacean researchers bring more news from the Philippine island of Lumiwan. In the picture on the left, Drs. Tan Swee Hee and Tohru Naruse and Mr. J. C. Mendoza pose onboard the MV DA-BFAR with the island of Mindoro in the background. On the right, they pose with a rather large isopod almost a foot (30 cm) length. Dr. Tan entitled his MMS for the day as: “Catch of the Day”. Our three ‘musketeers’ are part of an international team of researchers exploring the deep sea fauna off the Lumiwan.
