Chen, Xiao Yong, M. Kottelat, D. A. Neely (2011) Physoschistura yunnaniloides, a new species of loach from Myanmmar (Teleostei: Nemacheilidae). Ichthyological Exploration of Freshwaters, 22(2): 179-183.

Its abstract as follows:

Physoschistura yunnaniloides, new species, is described from the Chindwin River drainage, Sagaing Division, Myanmar. It is distinguished from all its congeners except P. shanensis by having a complete lateral line. It seems related to P. shanensis in morphology but can be distinguished by its pointed snout, 18-20 transverse bars along lateral side of body, fewer branched dorsal-fin rays, fewer branched pectoral-fin rays, a greater pre-pelvic length, a more slender caudal-peduncle, a higher dorsal fin, and a shorter pelvic fin. 2011 by Verlag Dr. Friedrich Pfeil, Mnchen, Germany.
