Jointly organised by National Parks Board (NParks) and Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research (RMBR), “A Decade of Biodiversity Conservation and Discoveries in Singapore” was successfully launched on the 21st of April 2011 at the Hortpark gallery. The exhibition, held in celebration of the International Year of Forests 2011, is free for the public and is on display at the HortPark Gallery from 21 April to 2 May 2011, from 7.00am to 10.00pm. It will be a moving exhibition for the rest of the year and its next destinations are to various public libraries, City Square Mall and Wisma Atria.
The exhibition was launched by Guest-of-Honour Professor Tommy Koh, Ambassador-At-Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Special Advisor, Institute of Policy Studies and the Patron of the Nature Society of Singapore.

Mr Poon Hong Yuen (NParks Chief Executive Officer), Professor Peter Ng (Director of RMBR), Mr Robin Ngiam and Professor Tommy Koh each gave their opening speeches before officially opening the exhibition. Following that, Professor Tommy Koh officially opened the exhibition and toured the area, chatting with the researchers about their work as he went along.
