Mr John Corner

Mr John Corner is the son of the late Emeritus Professor E.J.H. Corner, who was a former Assistant Director, Singapore Botanic Gardens, one of the “titans of tropical botany”, and to most local botanists, famed author of the botanical classic, “Wayside Trees of Malaya”.

Mr John Corner visited the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research on 18th of April 2011 because he is researching his father for a book on him scheduled to be published by the end of this year. He has been travelling around the world following the footsteps of his father to meet with people or checking archives to gather research.
