Singapore Aquatic Heteroptera workshop from 18-29 Oct 2010.

RMBR will be hosting the Singapore Aquatic Heteroptera workshop from 18-29 Oct 2010.
 
The aim of this workshop is to update and exchange information of the current systematic research of the aquatic heteroptera of Singapore and Peninsular Malaysia, and to produce up-to-date guides that will be published in the RBZ. The researchers will be spending most of their time here in the collections. They will be staying at Eusoff Hall.
 
The researchers invited are:
1. Dr. John Polhemus (Colorado, USA)
2. Dr. Dan Polhemus (Bishop Museum, Honululu, USA)
3. Dr. Herbert Zettel (Natural History Museum, Vienna, Austria)
4. Dr. Lanna Cheng (Scripps Institution of Oceanography, USA)
5. Dr. Tran Anh Duc (Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam)
 
We encourage anyone interested on aquatic heteroptera to come and consult the invited scientists with their taxonomic or related problems.
 
Drs. Dan Polhemus and Lanna Cheng would also be giving a short seminar at the department in the last week of Oct. The topic of their talks to be confirmed.
