Dr Bertrand Richer de Forges

Dr Bertrand Richer de Forges, long-time research collaborator and an old friend of RMBR, is currently in the museum to continue his research on deep sea spiny crabs in the Homolidae and Majidae families. A regular here since the Panglao deep sea expedition in 2005, this time he is working on the taxonomy of new species of crabs discovered in the Salomon Islands. Bertrand always looks forward to his time in RMBR as we have a “good reference collection on deep sea crabs” and Southeast Asia has rich marine life. Bertrand is here from 4 Jan to 14 Feb 2010.
