Dr. George Zug

Dr. George Zug (Right) is an Emeritus Research Zoologist from the Division of Amphibians & Reptiles, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, USA. He is here with his wife, Mrs. Patricia Zug, in the RMBR for a visit from 10 to 17 Dec 2008.

He has a wide interest in systematics of amphibians and reptiles such as turtles, lizards, geckos, skinks, frogs and snakes to list a few, especially in the South East Asia. The RMBR is just one of the few stops on his itinerary as he will be looking at specific specimens from the Zoological Reference Collection. The data gathered from this visit will be used for comparison studies for his work.
