While most Singaporeans are just celebrating National Day, the marine community is doing more than that. On 9th August 2008 at Singapore Botanic Gardens, an event was held to celebrate the International Year of the Reef. The day was filled with talks, exhibits, and fun-filled activities for all ages.
Toddycats was there to showcase the usual and often highlight of the event – the Museum specimens, especially the dearest baby dugong.
