Tan Heok Hui has been appointed as a new editor for the Pisces section of Zootaxa which is a mega-journal for zoological taxonomists in the world. Zootaxa is the first electronic taxonomic journal and is growing very fast (ISI impact factor 0.74).
Asian sector is now divided into:
- Pisces – South and West Asia – Rohan Pethiyagoda
- Pisces – East and Southeast Asia – Tan Heok Hui
